Skyrim Argonian Costume
It was a long time in the works but the Skyrim Argonian Costume has been completed. It’s a fantastic piece of work if I don’t say so myself. The costume was made from mostly natural hides and furs with the tail and headpiece sculpted and cast with Urethane plastic components. The head piece fits someone with a 22 1/2″ head with no more than 6.5″ total head width from temple to temple. You can see out holes just below the eyes the openings are then covered with a mesh and painted so you cannot see the wearers eyes. The jaw is hung off the head with a chin strap that allows movement of the jaw in sync with the wearers movement as they talk. This Costume won “Best Young Fan” at the 2012 Comic-con Masquerade. Big thanks to all the suppliers that sold me the raw materials.
