Skyrim “The Aftermath” Live action fan film

There’s another team of talented young filmmakers in Germany known as Kurzfilm that are currently fundraising to produce their Live Action Skyrim Fan Film titled “Skyrim The Aftermath”.

This will be the 2nd Skyrim fan film to feature the Dovahkiin Helmet and Armor produced by Del Nero Designs and is the only one that I know of produced in the German language.

*What is Skyrim The Aftermath project all about?

This project is a film adaptation of the computer game Skyrim . Overall, this short film will run 20-25 min, we will be divided it into two parts due to logistical reasons .

Their film will be an adaptation of the main story of the game. This new storyline to be told does not appear in the game. However, it will also refer to events which have already taken place in the game. As an example, the end of the civil war.

They cannot reveal too much about the storyline , but this much can be said:

Although the war against the dragons actually is over, a dragon will play a particularly important role , and not for the better.

The first day of shooting was on the 25th May 2013 and held at a castle that is more than Skyrim worthy .
Kurzfilm looks forward to sharing this great project with the Fans of Skyrim! 🙂

What is the goal of the project and who is the target audience ?

The target audience not only includes everyone who knows and loves Skyrim, but also viewers who simply love the fantasy genre.

We want to ensure that Skyrim fans recognize links and content. But even people who do not know the game will be able to understand the story. That was very important to us from the beginning .

We want the atmosphere , the excitement and the witty allusions in the film convey as possible as it has managed to master the game so unique way.

So Why should you support this project?

Skyrim has fascinated thousands of players since its release. It is a complex world full of wonder, adventure and great characters. We want those that have experienced the world of Skyrim to have something that goes beyond the game in it’s purest content.

The team consists of enthusiastic young people who are here to gain a foothold in the film industry .

100% of the money goes to purchase the costumes , props and other materials we need . In addition, we want to cover the cost of catering and logistics for this first part of the film . Sophisticated Video and sound equipment is available or will be provided to us .
