Cowboy Bepop Spike Spiegel project:
Del Nero Designs has been busy working on a commission project making the gun holster for Spike Spiegel from the popular Anime series Cowboy Bepop. Spike plays a detective and I have been working on a custom leather Holster that will hold an Airsoft Jericho 941 CO2 pistol. The project required a lot of research, info was needed on the exact size and dimension of the Airsoft pistol. I ended up printing out images of the exact pistol scaling it to correct measurements and creating a 3D version using cardboard and foam. Then I created a paper pattern and after several fittings on different individuals prototyped it in leather images can be seen below.
The Spike Spiegel Gun Holster Project is complete. Made of full grain leather hand cut, hand died and finished this holster will fit a size medium Male with a chest from 38-40″ and is adjustable. See images of finished Holster below:
